Davenport Community Schools has the resources of a large district with the small class sizes and hands-on approach of a small-town school. With 30 school buildings serving Davenport, Blue Grass, Buffalo and Walcott, Davenport Community Schools are resource-rich, blending student and family support programs with a wide array of curricular offerings to create a quality learning environment for all students. 

Our mission is to enhance each student’s abilities by providing a quality education enriched by our diverse community. We share a learning environment that welcomes everyone, as we work together to Grow Excellence for the future of our community. 

Davenport Community Schools offers a wide variety of educational offerings ranging from traditional learning environments, an online learning academy, many varied AP and concurrent enrollment classes, career and technical education, Creative Arts Academy, English language learners and newcomer program, and preschool programming. 

Our extracurricular offers are as diverse as our community including award-winning fine arts programs as well as a strong athletic legacy. Each school boasts a multitude of its own clubs that reflect the interest and make up of the student body.
