High School TAG Program Update Video ('23-'24 2nd Semester)

 Talented and Gifted (TAG)

Option I is an elective class that can be taken for one term per year.  This class gives students the opportunity to work on activities/lessons that focus on the standards of Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Social Emotional Skills.  Students will also participate in enrichment projects related to students’ passions, and improve test taking skills for standardized tests.

Option II is designed for TAG students who wish to be included in the program but have a limited amount of time in their daily schedule, and are unable to fit the Option I class into their school day.  This is a non-credit course, though students’ participation in the program is noted on their individual transcript.  Option II is for students who wish to participate in various competitions, service/leadership projects and/or mentoring.

The TAG program has 3 focus areas taken directly from the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) for all of the activities and lessons students participate in.
